Our relationship is like a Tree. We took the time to plant the seeds and allow it to grow without forcing it or putting more on it then needed. Our tree of friendship and love has taken root and is now blossoming strong and vibrant with beauty and strength. We both have the understanding, patience, and communication it takes to celebrate the highs and work through the lows with dignity and respect. We truly respect one another and want to see the other happy. We have an altruistic love for each other and a mind to work together to achieve a common goal. We celebrate and challenge each other to do better and be better. We are true to each other and ourselves. We complement each other's sensibilities and ideals and respect the differences. We are guided by God's hand, grace and mercy. Our relationship is built on our love, loyalty, and respect for God and each other.
I met Joyce on Facebook. I was scrolling and came across a video of her singing this song by Drake, One Dance. I ask her out on a date and we went to Semolinas' and the movies. I couldn't look at her in the face because she was so beautiful to me. The following week I sent her an Edible Arrangement and a bouquet of roses.
I knew he was the one over a series of moments: One was when we were walking through this packed crowd and we were holding hands. A few people going in another direction was trying to cut through and between us and he never let go of my hand. He said," No, go around" and the passion on his face while saying it was priceless. We have had random moments where I can just look at him and feel so present in the moment and so happy in ways only that "one" can bring out.
Joyce, you guard your emotions. You’re cautious about letting people into your life and I can’t thank you enough for opening up to me. I love you more than words can ever explain and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, baby. You are encouraging, loyal, loving, God-fearing, humble, and supportive and I fall in love with you more and more every day. I look forward to our future together and with God’s blessing, the love we have for each other will continue to grow stronger every day.
